I grew up in the South, so snow wasn't a regular winter-time thing. About 20 years ago I lived in New England for 2 years, and I got sick of snow. I still enjoy it on the rare occasion that we get it here in SC, but ever since my New England days I have never "missed" snow.

I am from connecticut. I was up north as well during my military days. I still miss cold mornings with snow blanketing the landscape.

It's freezing here. I had to ride with a long sleeve t-shirt this morning.

What don't you guys just move down?

Did the Frost-Bite ride this morning with SCRC chapter #084 (Cape Fear). 7 degrees last night and 35 degrees when riding today. Coldest weather we've had in NC for ten years. Who came up with "Global Warning? It should be "Global Cooling". You could always buy an industrial strength treadmill with a flat screen mounted on it....put on your favorite scenery and take a ride. Man, is that a million dollar idea?

Winter hasnt be to bad here this year. It has only been around 5 degrees the last few days but usually gets in the 40's a few times a month. I have been able to get mine out 3-4 times a month so far this winter. Still sucks but better than having it in storage.

Glad i'm not the only one from the frozen north... it has warmed up a little the last few days but we're still a long, long way from firing up the bikes. I think closer to 90 days.
