Forget what these guys say as any and all modifications to your bike must be approved by Sr. Members of the HD Forums Modification Styling Team. You are required to post pics for approval asap.

i think it would look like you dropped your bike and could not afford to have the right tank put on... reminds me of the ricers that have the body kits that are still all white cause they dont have the $$$ to get it painted, but they have to have it on... looks gay. only time a tank that does not match the fenders looks good is when it is CHROME

Asking for opinions with no pics to see?????

If it looks good to you, that's all that really matters...but really, can't give an opinion without pics to see what it looks like.

I've considered chopping my rear fender, but I got a HD custom color. Two tone paint. I've considered just painting my rear fender vivid black if I chopped it. I think it would look fine.

It only matters what you think.

Well pretty much go with what I like anyway, just figured I would through it out there. Lol at not having the money to get it painted, that is the way I was looking at it. The more I looked at it, the more the fenders need to be painted. Will get some pics posted

If the tank is mostly black with the red being the accent color, I can see it looking ok with the rest of the tins all black. If you like the color, it is probably best to leave it and get the fenders done when financially able as opposed to painting the tank all black.
