RE: 56 Super Glide Restoration
Good day all, Just returned from Sparks over in Oklahoma where this ol 65 took 3rd place in the antique show. Here are a few pictures of it in good riding condition. The seat was a custom built by myself for the pan and the leather work by my best of friends Phil.

RE: 56 Super Glide Restoration
Thanks plan to take it further by putting the original front end on the darn thing and get rid of the disc front break. The front end on it is off a 72 superglide. Not what I like to see on such a sweet 65. So if anyone knows of a front end out there let me know.

RE: 56 Super Glide Restoration
Thanks for the complements on the tinkering. Yes the man who gave me the scoot is a close friend of my father in law. In 1980 he had a close friend of theirs get killed on a bike so he pulled it into a barn and there it set until April 15th this year when I was called and he said to come get it. No money involved but he wants to ride it again some day when I have it completed and it is tested for faults. He said a few years back the only reason I want it is to fix it so he will ride it and kill himself. Well times have changes since then and I am confident he will be pleased to ride it again. I go to Kansas in September to a blue grass fest so I plan to ride it there from Arkansas and let him have the ride of his life. Thanks again
