How many of you have ever had a bike that had a kick starter?

I had a Yamaha back in the 70's which had both the electric and kick start. Like someone else said the electric hardly ever worked and you ended up kick starting.
On the same general topic I remember a Biker Build off where some chick built a bike with only a kick start which she couldn't turn over in the allotted time. Some guy ended up doing it for her.She ended up winning the build off which didn't right.

I had a 73' Yamaha 750 that I had to end up kicking more times than I wanted to. Man I can still remember out there on the rear parking pad of our first house at 5:30 in the morning trying to get the ****er started.

All my Nortons and Triumphs were kickers. I had a Triumph TR6-R Tiger that had a timing advance control that was same as the choke control on opposite side of handlebars. If I had a coiple of adult beverages and I forgot to "retard" timing when I started it, it would fart and throw me right over the bars or scew up my ankle. Good reason to NOT drink and ride.

first bike was a Honda 250 street / dirt bike. Electric start never worked (no $$ for a charger) so I kicked it everytime. Was such a PIA that I had to start kicking it half an hour before I had to leave so it would be started before I actually had to get out the door. Neighbors loved it when I left early in the morning or late at night and had to listed to me tying to start it.
