Question HD Wheels That Fit My '08 Street Bob

Hey Guys,

I want mag wheels for my '08 Street Bob, but dont want to spend 2-3k just for the look. So, I've thought, what about stock wheels from other HD's? Maybe V-Rod? Preferrably some with black. Also, I dont want to have to rework hubs. Any ideas?

how about a set of low rider take-offs? they got black accents and I think they should be a straight swap if they are 07 and newer (they went to a 25mm axle from the 1" in 07 I think)

How about a set of lowrider or fxd stock takeoff mags? Get some from a model year that uses the same size everything as yours. You could get them powdercoated or chromed if you want. I have some fxd mags at the chromes right now (STILL - erg!). I bought them for $200 and getting them chromed for $550. Selling my spokes for $100 so I'm getting new (to me) chrome wheels for $650 net. Of course that doesn't include all the other chrome crap I'm putting on to match (rotors, spacers, etc.) but I'd have to buy those even if I were spending a couple grand on the wheels.

This is what they will look like when I get them back.

I bought an '05 Dyna HD Wagon Wheel on Ebay for $283. I had to space the axle and breaks. As far as the rear, I bought a Duece type wheel with a 1" axle from Surdykes for $700.

BTW..... And anyone correct me if I am wrong, 25mm equals .9843 inches. So if you get a earlier rim with a 1" axle, you won't be able to use the 25mm axle, but a 1" axle should fit your swing arm. It would just be an addition cost.

Good Luck!
