Default Question for Wide Glide owners

I wanna move the position of my front pegs. It already has the extension kit, but I need just a bit more.
Been looking at the these.
You think they would clear the brake pedal?
looks awfully close to me

go too far forward and you'll be rubbing boot with your front tire.

Your master cylinder is by the brake peddle?

It's not on a Wide Glide?
I just asked in here cause none of the Softail owners had any opinions.
Just need to move the pegs just a little bit.

yeah just messin with you. from the looks of the kit, you will run into problems with the brake lever, maybe the shifter too. the 2" ones might just work, of course then you got the problem of the location of your foot vs lever. The wide glide forwards are a bit different than the softail ones. measuring 4" from the stock peg location puts the peg right under the pad for my brake lever. 2" is of course midway. I guess if you also have stirrups you could do the 2" extentions and be able to position the foot back when needed to utilize the brake/ shifter more effectively.

Yeh, I'm thinking the bracket won't clear the brake pedal arm, so you couldn't move it forward any

yeah on my wide glide forwards, the outside edge of the brake pedal pad is about even with the inside of the pegs. on yours, the inside of the brake pad is even with the inside edge of the pegs. I could probably make the 2" extentions work fine on the dyna, but probably not on your application because of how you brake pedal lines up comparatively.

hmmmmm. Your pedal is a lot further in. Prob because the master cylinder isn't up there.
well, there goes another one of my ideas

Have you tried any other seats? That helped me out. I did a 3" forward on my WG and got a seat that is an inch or so further back.
