I'm wondering about different cover options my self. I think I may go with the AN Big Sucker.

This is the cover I painted for the BS I had on my Nightster. I decided I wanted to use it on the Fat Bob, so I just ordered a new BS last week.

I have the AN Big Sucker on my FXD and wifes FXSTC, I like them.
I cut the cover plates out of the football covers.

I installed mine the other day... it was easier than when I put one on my old Sporty! According to the flow rates posted in another thread, the Big Sucker doesn't let that much more air in than stock. I'd already decided to see how it runs with just the O2 IED's before worrying about a fuel management system. So far, the bike has come to life!

I installed the Big Sucker stage two, dead easy to do. As the instuctions say,try to keep to the required torque settings.

Default Big Sucker Fell off!

I was out for a ride recently and my filter and cover fell right off! Luckily it landed on my boot and I was able to hold it until I could pull off the highway. The bolts had all snapped. I put a sock over the intake for the rest of my three day ride. The parts guy at Harley said this was common with Arlen Ness bolts on a rubber mount. He showed the hd bolts and they are a two part system that apparently negates the vibration. Anyone else have this issue on a dyna? I bought my 2007 FXD used and it had the big sucker stage one on it already. I had already ordered replacement bolts for the Ness so I'll stick with these for now but it was a real pain drilling out the snapped off bolts!

When in doubt, use a sock
