Default unusual buzzing

I have an 09 Street Bob. I have an unusual noise at a certain rpm and it's there in all gears. Sounds like a washer is loose on a bolt. Best I can describe it. Seems to be coming from the triple tree area. I can't tell at what rpm as i have no tach but 30 mph in 2nd gear will do it. Sounds like a "buzzing". I just went over all attachments, bolts etc in front end area and found nothing loose. Annoying as hell!! Any one have a similiar experience? May just have to take it in and have it looked at but thought this was worth a shot first. Thanks, Mike

Next time you hear the noise - touch your gas cap and see it it goes away.

grab your air cleaner... if it moves... that is what it is... i mean the whole filter deal, just tighten your breather bolts

Well i checked the air cleaner assembly and gas cap. They are not the source of the noise. Rode bike to work this morning and noise worse than ever after hitting a huge pot hole. Got to work and just started tapping on things with a fist. I'd have sworn that the noise was in the front end somewhere but decided to tap on the mufflers. "Hey there it is"!!!! Heat shields all tight and bracket between mufflers tight. After somemore tapping I discovered the license plate was the source of the noise. Go figure!!! Noise was coming from the rear. I had plate attached with only the top two holes. I secured plate also at bottom two holes and rode home with noise gone!!!! Thanks to those who made suggestions.
