Default Another "back to solo" thread ....

Came in from work a couple of weeks ago and decided to take some more stuff off the bike. Off went the sideplates, sissy bar, and pillion .... back down to solo the way I like the bike!!! After a round trip of roughly 500 miles down to Panama City I decided a few things: 1. Too hot for 3/4 helmet this time of year. - 2. Half-Helmet = Shield back on bike. - 3. Corbin Solo back out of retirement. I'm liking the results ..... but my bike changes like the weather!!!!

Looks good. I would like to do the same, but my rear fender is pretty trashed under the seat and side plates. I'm sure I'll go solo eventually...wife never rides, and I removed the passenger boards a while back.

The OL rarely rides at all ..... so there was no point in all that stuff on the bike. I've been OCD about keeping the paint scratch free under the 2-UP ..... Trimbrite Paint Protection Film has done a great job with that.

Dawg .... you might try a fender bib to cover?

I definitely like mine in solo dress. Just looks good, but I did miss out on a chance to take a cute 40yr old for a ride yesterday because I had no p-pad although I did offer her my fender.

I need to trade someome my sundowner 2-up for a mustang p-pad. Any takers?

I like the looks of the Corbin seat. I ride an 06 S/B, what model and style is the seat. I still have the stock seat and the one you have looks to have a little more back support.

Any chance you still have them and want to get rid of them?

It's pretty bad behind one of the side plates, too. I didn't buy it new, and the damage was already done. The previous owner never rode it, but he didn't protect the paint, either. I'm sure I'll convert at some point, but I'll keep it this way for now.
