for a gloss black FLHX on Saturday. However, they wanted too much down along with BIG payments. Looks like I'll be riding my '07 FXD for at least another year.
Took the back way home and realized that I would miss my Dyna...ain't no way any bagger is gonna handle like that. Plus I would need to start buying stuff all over again ( pipes, A/C, etc. ) and touring accessories all seem to cost more than goodies for a Dyna.

Glad to hear your still gunna hang with us! I love those street glides, but I don't think I could see myself riding one for a while. I'm not ready to slow down that much. My next bike will be a night rod!

 

Yeah, I almost took the plunge and bought a 2nd bike last year myself. '09 streetglide, had it for a few days while my motor was being built. I'll tell you want, that streetglide handles pretty damn good! I was surprised on the handling and the overall comfort, plus it had a radio! It was a nice change from the roar of the dyna, but I would never trade mine in for it. I almost had the girlfreind talked into it, the dyna for me & the streetglide for us! But in the end she says "nice try" and the rest was history!
