Chrome experts please
Well I had quite the embarrassing moment last night when I zipped out to meet mr. FATBOB ,another member here, to sell him my rush 1.75's. After phsycing him up for almost two weeks I get there with the slips im my saddlebag sticking out and spider bungied down when I pull them out there is a huge scratch on the side facing the public
of the lower slip-on. Damn I had to get home and put the glasses on to know for sure this was not some kind of smudge.
Sorry Fatts I will work this out somehow. I already tried never dull and steel wool its really down to the metal.

Getting parts chromed is expensive! Especially if it's quality chrome! I don't know if any place will re-chrome exhaust though. Unless it's new, there a chance the old exhaust will contaminate the chrome process! I maybe wrong but ask around.
talk with 2 companies and was told it is around 225.00 to get exhaust chrome.
that is the price for my size of exhaust...they have to glass blast the old chrome
and from new.. but was told they wont blue for a couple of years for sure.so they
have to be really cheap to do this or have to love your exhaust....like i said
