Default PCV 2008 Fat Bob Install, wont start

Hey all. Hope yer late spring is going good. Im just into all sorts of things today. Ive installed some vance and hines big radius 2-2, an arlen ness big sucker, and a dynojet PC V, which is what im on now, everything else is done. Map is loaded in, purchased this from the guys at fuelmoto, its an 08 Fat Bob. However now, the bike doesnt start. The map is showing up, ive unplugged and replugged all the connections just to make sure everything was together, the bike turns over just fine but theres no starting after that.

I saw one person had this experience and a lot of people said his pcv was bad, wondering if anyone else has had this happen, im dead in the water so to speak.

Any help appreciated, thanks.

Did you take both sides off? the battery box side and the electrical panel side off? I know I had to unplug my plug wires from my coil to get a little more room for movement maybe those arent plugged in all the way? I actually forgot to do that as I was just about to start the bike up...I also forgot one of the wires on the battery side to connect to the battery, id check there too And last but not least a pinched wire can cause nightmares maybe check for those too behind the electrical panel...I know its still a somewhat tight fit

O btw did u try plugging in the old connections to see if the bike would crank over? and just leaving the power commander off for that?

checked some wires here, and tried, nothin. so, I have the power commander off and the old connection back in, my o2 sensor eliminators are still on, and no start. Still cranking just fine but no starting. Now this is getting really odd, so I guess the PC V is ok, it must be something else I did.

Its more then likely rly something simple..it ALWAYS is..hence my mistakes I did...I would go through it piece by piece "where did i start first to where i ended" I wouldnt think it would be a fuse or anything like that since im sure u unplugged the battery b 4 all this..And there isnt rly much to the power commander..Plug power commander into right spots..unplug the o2 sensors and use the plugs that come with the PCV and then fit for placement..trying to think more myself of what else it maybe

Problem solved EDZ! Yep you were right. Checkin wires, troubleshootin, sure enough it was one little wire that came unplugged from a socket underneath where the plug wires go, some little purple yellow blue plug-in. I was so confused and was like ok now its somethin besides the pc v. Plus it was worth it to hear the new pipes finally, louder than the devil in my garage.

Ive seen some people pulling out their baffles on these, did you need a different map? Im not sure I want to but might wanna be a little wild someday.

thanks again edz and all for viewing

Yea no problem man, thats why this place is great along with the riders we help each other out...As far as pulling the baffles out I havent done that on mine yet..I heard it was better to leave them in because you need some sort of back pressure to have these bikes run their best...ALTHOUGH I will take the baffles out of mine maybe once or twice just to see how they sound without them and I dont think it would hurt that much if it was just for a little ride or so...But my pipes can be heard for a while, I had my brother and buddy stand outside as I went for a ride and they could hear me from I would imagine a mile or so away, and to me thats fantastic

BTW...Let us know how that thing runs with the pcv and pipes and that A/C too...I know I noticed a difference in my bike from throttle response to rly waking the bike up throughout the gears
