Has anyone ever used a starter switch for the solenoid? I bought one from JP the other day because i had some problems with my starter switch on the handle bars, and today i installed it, it started up right away. Then it went down hill from their, but im thinkin ive got a battery issue as well, unless anyone knows something about these solenoid starters and has had the same problem.

 

Are you talking about the push type button on the solenoid? Have you done any battery tests yet, how old is the battery? Is it getting a charge?

 

Check all of your wire connections.

 

yea may be other problems the push button switch is a simple contact...mine saved me when my pinched wire in stater buton failed,just reached down and started
