o7 road king starter relay clicks no starter action.battery good 12.5,power to starter 12.5 ,power to sel.11.9. jump wire from battery to sel. starter works. where do i go from here. thanks for help. mike

 

Just went thru this with my '07 RG. The battery (from HD) was only 4 mo old, read 12.8 at the battery but just got the clicking of the relay. Read 11.9 with the ignition switch on, not enough power to kick it over, I think the battery has a bad cell. I bought a new Delka battery and it reads 12.8 at the battery and 12.5 with the ignition switch on and it starts fine now.

 

Need to check connections first then take the battery to an auto parts store to have it load tested and once you get it running make sure the charging system is good.
