Default flying peices!

Last week I'm buzzing down the highway at roughly 70 mph and whack something hits me on the left knee...So I'm nervous thinking what the hell was that meantime rubbing my knee I'm trying to looka t the bike on the fly ,looking around at other cars---> nothing. I get home sure enough there is a welt and a chunk of skin gone, all week I'm thinking hhmmm mystery chunk hit me on the knee, until last night when i noticed the lead weight for balancing the front tire is missing, all that's left is adhesive!
Service dept says is it vibrating or riding weird? ...no i say so she tells me bring it when you get a chance we'll re-balance the wheel for you.

I say ok fine nothing to worry about ? NAW she says your golden don't worry! Don't you know I then check and the rear wheel balancing weight has also flown away!

I don't even have them on my wheels anymore... is that a bad thing? Will these tires go out of balance soon or what? I'll probably end up getting some dyna beads at some point, but I'm not sure how to put them in without having to take the tires off, if its even possible.

Sometimes you can turn the tire on the wheel and you won't need weights.

I had new renegade wheels put on my bike and noticed that neither the front nor the back wheel has any weights on it. I can't believe that the wheel and tire are perfectly balanced, but I have had the bike up to 100 mph and no wobble at all. hmmmmm
(My stock spoked wheels had weights.)

you just let the air out, remove the core from the valve stem, pour em in with the little hose they give you, then reinstall your valve cores and re-inflate... easy

Sounds easy enough. Maybe I'll do that sooner then! Thanks for the tip.
