Question Messy cables in front end!!!!

I have a 2008 LowRider, But I'm just not happy with those electric cables on the front end,
too messy, I have see some bike that can hide them up and looks tidy!
But I don't know how to started and what parts?
I'm thinking should use a thicker handle bar, just like the fat boy!
but where those system light goes?

are you talking to run your wires interally? or the ones on the neck... i cleaned up both on mine... formula also did a killer write up in the 50 mod thread on it... if you need some links for interally wiring your bars let me know i have a ton!

It's called "running the cables internally in the handlebars." There are probably hundreds of threads on this you can find via search. For local advice, including suggestions on what handlebars to get, visit your local Harley dealer or local independent shop.

You can use the original handlebars, just drill and debur to run the wires in them. Here's info on cleaning up the rest of the wiring: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...e-harness.html

If your going to run the wires internally get new bars that except them . DON'T DRILL INTO YOUR STOCK BARS ! You will eventually end up on your noggin.

Unfortunately it's a fact , earlier this year one of my riding buddy's didn't notice the stress crack that had formed under his bars right before it leads into the risers , this was a year in the making - he was told several times by many people to spend the money and get 1 1/4's but didn't listen . I happened to be the unlucky soul riding behind him at 70 mph on the Garden State Parkway , Wasn't pretty to watch . He got a two month stay in the Hosp. for being a dumb *** , his 07 Lowrider wasn't so lucky.

I internally wired mine and relocated the turn signals. Pictures in my gallery. Really cleaned up the bike. Yet one more thing they should do in the factory! Oh... DONT make the same mistake I did and oh... ah... forget to get new risers and clamp for a 1 1/4" bar or whatever size you go with!!!!! Quick trip to the HD shop, thank God they had a set in!
