anybody ever convert a 07 dyna to chain drive

You could always do an emergency chain repair on the road, that cant happen with a belt.
I'll be converting mine to chain someday.

I think that's why they went to the belt. One less thing that needs to be fixed on the side of the road.
The chain can handle more power than a belt. That would be the only reason to change unless you really like the look.
