Default Quick Question on PC Maps

I know PCIII maps will not work on the PCV. But did anything change on the bikes (ECM) themselves to make '08 different than say '09?

If a guy has a PCV on an '08 Dyna... could he just download the same map to match his config from the '09?

Is there anything different with the bikes themselves?

My understanding is that the PC MAPs only modify the results of the ECU MAP (adds or subtracts), does not modify the original ECU MAP itself. The dyna 08 and 09 ECUs are the same, the 09 MAP is set a hair richer ay idle, perhaps some other small differences. So if you take a PC out of a 09 and put it in the same mod level 08, it should run nearly the same, the 08 a hair leaner at idle than the 09. Now if the PCs were tuned to the bike, you may see more difference.
