Thinking of mounting a side mount tag, Vertical. Anybody know if the Po Po will give me a hard time?

 

i've seen a couple down here in somd, but the main question i have is what mount do you use for the billboard size plates we have here?

 

Recently they changed to the smaller plates.(normal size). A big plus.

 

yea, i heard something about that. do you just turn in the old ones for the smaller ones or do you have to pay a "fine" to the man for something the rest of the civilized world has?

Go to MVA. com , online services and choose "personalized plates". It will run you $25.00 for new plates.

 

i switched my plate a few months ago. believe it or not its free. i was shocked that it didnt cost a dime. turn in the old one, leave with the new one.

 

Don't really know but I would doubt you would have trouble. The new wide glide has a side mount plate holder and I can't believe Harley would make a model that was illegal in any state.

 

I believe Md. law says all tags must be horizontal.
