Street Bob - VH Short Shots
All,
I sold some of my unused personal belogings and I was able to get enough to buy some short shots for my SB.
Did a couple of searches and noticed that the going price is about $360 plus shipment. If you have bought at a lower from a seller you can recommend please let me know.
Also, if you installed them yourself, can you tell me about your experience.
Thanks,
Harlista01

The install was a piece of cake. Get yourself some new Screaming Eagle flange gaskets before you start. Sometimes the old ones will work just fine, but for a couple bucks, I figured better safe than sorry. As for where to buy, I bought them cheaper and free shipping but the place has since gone out of business. Good Luck!

I got mine (in black) a bit cheaper with free shipping from Dennis Kirk. I also picked up new gaskets as well. I did the swap myself - going from a full SEII exhaust setup - without any help OR having a lift / jack.
Getting the SEII's off by myself was the hardest part due to the angle of the bike on the ground and not having a second set of hands. Note though that I opted to take them off as a full system, and not in pieces.
Totally doable, and I'm only a weekend wrencher if that helps...
OH! And yeah, the black coating is about as delicate as our black denim paint. Meaning, it marks real easily!
