Honestly, I would say that bike was one of the first to put that style on the map.

Let me say that again for those with reading comprehension;

That bike was one of the first to put that style ON THE map.

Prior to that feature, I don't remember seeing that style bike featured in many magazines.

what kind of seat is that? custom made?
i run HD removable bags on my bike for a few years but i have always wanted fiberglass bags like the ones i had on my street glide. like your set up. did you custom mount or was it a kit to fit dyna? thought i might pick up those bags and re use my mounting hardware that i have.
thanks

I know he built the bike in 2008. I'm pretty sure the style was around for a good few years prior in the area. Like you said tho, his brought a lot of attention to it. Looking back, I'd say that is my single favorite, and if not it's definitely the one that got me into the style. The day I bought my current bike I actually went into the dealer to look at a used FXDX, but fell for the VRSCDX they had for about the same price. At the time it made sense, and I still don't regret my decision, I just still would really love to have one. I took my love of the style and applied it to what I believe is the first and only, "club style" VRSC...

Are you asking about his or mine...? Either way it's, uh, the style... The look. Right? Isn't that what all the bikes in this thread are shooting for?

Thanks! The seat is a C&C. The bags are quick detach road king bags made by John Conely.
