Got this Evo (‘94) back in February as a stocker with low miles. It’s got an EV27 but otherwise the motor is largely unchanged. Thunderheader is next but they’re not easy to get here in the UK. I know the sissy is unusual for this style but it’s useful for strapping luggage to and keeping the other half seated 😁. Wiring could also do with a tidy up.

Not finished by any means, but getting there and crazy fun to ride.

Took advantage of the light this evening to get these pics.

Thanks man. Yeah until I’ve got space for a twin-cam and money for a Panhead then I can’t think of the one daily rider I’d have more than the Evo.

Here is my "before" pic... its totally stock- just got it yesterday. I'm definitely getting a thunderheader, I have them on all my bikes and really dig them... alren ness intake.. I will probably get the power commander from fuel moto. I'm really back and forth on bars/risers. 8" pullback risers with thrasher low bends? I'm about 5" 7. Stock 16/17 low rider s bars/riser? Probably a kickflip seat or similar. More forward mid control kit. Its a start

Painted to match t-sport fairing would look rad, too.

I'm really stoked on my LePera whiplash (tuck n roll).

The bike is still filthy from a ride to Yellowstone a couple weeks ago in this picture from last night... had to go check on the roads which were recently chip-sealed on one of my favorite canyons (East Canyon, Salt Lake City, Utah). Roads are good. Dragonflies were plentiful and HUGE (found a whole one when I washed the bike this morning). Rallied those turns, dodged deer and turkeys and a little bit of gravel, scraped the new pipe and pegs... East Canyon, it's your damn fault that I can't have nice things...

it's a good performer, honestly. there is data from others to back it up. this is actually my second one--i wore out the first one. i picked up this one for about $625 from https://www.fuelmotousa.com/. they had the best price on it and i knew what to expect from it compared to other "boutique" pipes. I was drooling over the Thrashin' Supply with anti-reversion chambers but to get it in black, it's nearly $1500.

however, it's not the sexiest pipe. and i feel it's a little long--hence the dragging. They make a stainless one that has a good look and might be lighter--this one is rather heavy. they also make a shorter one that would be less prone to dragging.

my bike is also lifted -- +1" rear and +2" front. last night was the first i dragged this new one--the turns in that canyon are just too tempting.

my bike has the HD Tire Shredder 110" top-end, se 259e cam, se 58mm throttle body and bigger injectors. it was dynoed at 114hp/115tq and tuned by the shop with the screamin' eagle (se) race tuner (before the EPA fined harley and they couldn't sell that tuner any more). but when it was tuned/dynoed, it had a Bassani RR3 (SS) on it -- that pipe ejected and i put the V&H back on. It feels like it doesn't really need a re-tune, but i might be able to squeeze a little more out of it if i did.
