Default Bob problem

So, my Bob is officially three weeks old today, I just hit a thousand miles, and I just discovered the throttle tension screw. hahaha
So on my way to work, I find a nice long stretch of road, get 'er going at about 60 MPH, and reach my thumb over and turn the screw,
take my hands off the bars and discover...
my bike tracks severely to the left!

Anyone else have this problem?

This means the handle bars are turning to the right. I can correct my problem by keeping 1 finger pushing on the left grip.

I was going to post a similar question about my '98 FXDS, the difference being, my bike is a salvage that had a minor tip-over. I tried shifting my weight on the seat and it still goes left. Thank you for posting this question, I'll be very interested in seeing the responses you get.

I was just checking other parts of this forum and found that some others have had the same prob. Seems there could be at least two things that could affect the tracking of the bike:
-adjustment of the drivetrain positioning in the frame (I assume this affects the balance ofthe motor's weight in the frame)
-adjustment of the rear axle

I guess we'll see what others say

Either way, I think I'll go holler at the dealer during my 1000 service

Wait! What? There is some screw that can hold your current MPH?

Had to modify a little bit,but easier than screwing with that little star wheel.

Harley davidson wheels are offset from each other to help in the balancing of the bike. No matter how perfect you get everything adjusted it will still pull to the left. Just lean to compensate for it........lol

umm... I would have to hang off the right side of the motorcycle to compensate for it, I know it's not possible to get it super perfect, but what mines doing is a little bit too much

All my bikes track straight. I can release my hands from the bars and steer with my knees if your bike is pulling to the left there is a problem.

clayman,
check on you road position it could be the camber of the road, if it is possible try riding in the center where the road is flat. That should tell you if you have a problem.
