Today I ordered a new exhaust and AC. I got a good deal from Mark at M & M Cycle. He's seems like a good guy and pretty knowledgeable. We talked a little about the PC V and he said it wouldn't work with my 2008 FXDL and that they're for 09 and up models. He did say you can tweak it to work but he didn't recommend that. I called Fuel Moto and the guy there said it would work, even though its advertised for 09 and up models. So my question is obvious. Will it work on a 2008 FXDL? Does anyone have it on theirs? Thanks guys...any help/advice would be appreciated.

 

Yes it will work as Fuelmoto loads the proper software.

Confirmation with another '08 for ya here. It is the same unit as the '09 +'s with a different connector/plug thingy hence the retrofit.

 

We support the Dynojet PC-V on all 2004-2010 Dyna models. This is a direct plug in application and works equally well on the pre-09 bikes. There is more info at www.fuelmotousa.com/pcvretrofit

Think about it guys, if they said it would work on earlier bikes Dynojet would be shooting theirself in the foot. All these older PCIII units would still be sitting on the shelves & never get sold. Then what are they going to do with all these older units. It's all about the $$$ is all it is.
