Default HIGH IDLE PROBLEM

I HAVE A 1999 DYNA WIDE GLIDE . STOCK CARB WITH SE-BREATHER AND DYNO JET AND THUNDER JET KIT INSTALLED. PINGEL PETCOCK AND 6200 SE REV KIT . PIPES ARE V&H STRAIGHT SHOTS WITH BIG CITY THUNDER BAFFLES. MY PROBLEM IS THIS BIKE IDLES HIGH AFTER A SHORT DISTANCE RIDE OR AN ALL DAY LONG RIDE . CHANGE IN TEMPTURE DOES NOT AFFECT EITHER WAY . ONE MINUTE IT IDLES HIGH AND THE NEXT STOP ITS FINE . ANY IDEAS????????????

Carbs sometimes load up while riding. Try just blipping the throttle and see if the idle comes back down.

My 98 WG does the same thing. I've not done anything about it yet, but would like to eventually.

The (stock) CV carbs do this from what I've been told.
You can adjust the idle but you need to keep it above 800-900 rpm (check your manual) at idle or it won't get enough oil spashing thru the motor.
Mine did that till I change to a AN Big Sucker air cleaner then I adjusted the idle a bit, runs great now.
