New Kury flush mounts and Avon grips
Have had these in my barn a few weeks. Too cold to ride so I spent some time installing them. Kuryakyn's flush mount gas gauge and cap. Instructions very straightforward and easy to follow. A little nervous cutting wire and splicing for low fuel light though but it worked fine. Took about 5 minutes to install the cap and a half hour or so on the gauge.
Also, threw on some new Avon, PM style contour grips. Had a much easier time installing throttle grip than I did the first time. They feel really comfortable and grippy and don't appear to want to rub black stuff off on my hands.

I have the grips in black and really like them. I was on the Avon website and they now have matching foot pegs as well. Below is a link.

The instructions do sound confusing because you have instructions and separate circuit boards and wires to fit multiple year and model bikes. But once you remove the gauge and wiring from your bike, it'll be clear which parts and instructions to follow. There are 3 wires on my stock gauge but there is a 4th (grey) wire with the Kury setup that I assume is for the low fuel light in the speedo. That's the part that made me nervous because there are no multiple options for that one. It just says access the speedo and cut the yellow/white wire from the speedo and splice the grey wire to it.
