Default question about handlebar wiring

probably a dumb question but does anyone know if the plugs on the end of handlebar controls fit through the holes on the upper triple clamp on all of the 06 and up dynas, reason i ask it because my bars are already internally wired and the hole in my street bob tree is considerably larger than the one on the low rider trees, i dont want to take it apart until i know if i have to take the plugs apart or if i can just push them through.

Any help is great if no one is sure ill just go at it but i just want to know what to expect

they do!

When I took apart my front end, unfortunately, I dismantled the plugs thinking they wouldnt fit (Without actually trying). Well, they do. Taking apart all the solder and heat shrink from my extensions was a pain.

you remove the stem nut, adjuster star nut, and then the lower tree will slide out. the stem is attached to the lower tree. I didnt remove it for powder, just had it taped off. I'm pretty sure it takes quite a bit to remove the stem, but also very unnecessary.

The wiring connections will fit throught the hole in the tree on some Dynas, but not on others. I changed trees on my Super Glide. The plugs fit through the FXD trees fine. When I put the Low Rider trees on, I learned the hole was a different size and the plugs would not fit. I had to disassemble them.

When you remove the trees, the lower will need to slide out of the neck with the stem because the stem is pressed in the lower tree.

You mean the molex connectors? No. They don't fit through the trees. Only the turn signal connectors fit.
