Default "New" Vance and Hines Straight Shots.

Anyone notice that Vance and Hines is offering the Straight Shot full exhaust system for 07 and up Dyna's now? I've been thinking about ordering some up, stuck between those and the V&H Side Shots.

They've always offered them for 91-05 models, but not for 06+. I love that style of pipe. Looks really good. I might have gone with that a while ago had they been available when I bought my first set of pipes.

Yea they only offered slip-ons for the 06+ and the full exhaust for 91-05 as stated.
Wonder if there would be any noticable gains with a full system?

I'd have to think that they wouldn't offer any performance gains over the straight shot slip ons .

Noobie question and I do not want to annoy anyone here, but what's the advantage to get a full system over slip ons?

I've been waiting for these, but I'm leaning towards black side shots now. I was going to get cobra dragsters because they look like these.

As for torque/power I doubt it's going to give you much. Its probably going to be like the slip ons, just great loud sound. You'll probably want to put the quiet baffles or some BCTs to get the torque back.

Here's some things to look at when shopping for performance through V&H. Another reason I want to go with the side shots is the Power Chamber. I'm not sure the big difference or if they are as good as advertised, but I like the look and at least I'll get a little vs nothing.

If you stick with a 2 into 2 system....not a whole lot , if they don't have a power chamber . Other than looks , and maybe some sound . Now if you choose a good 2 into 1 , you'll likely see and feel some power improvement . And most 2 into 1 pipes will also sound different , also .
