Default Toying with an Idea

Has anyone thought about putting a springer front end on a dyna? I have been toying with the idea for my 09 super glide. i have decided that i need more feedback from people i dont really know rather than feedback from my idiot friends who just say "do it, it might look cool". has anyone attempted it or thought about it? let me know
Thanks
-Ken

Thanks for the props SC

Putting one on isn't too bad. Things need to be thought of like brake parts and fitment, fender fitment, wheel fitment And a big one is fork stops, lock and fuel tank interferance. The type that narrow at top Like OE Harley springers, a lot of paughco springers and some others should be good clearance wise. Wide top springers like the one I have American Suspensions Dragon will need clearance to tank addressed. I pulled the tank back a bit and adjusted the fork stop, I have no fork lock. Other solutions may be possible too.
As you see a few have done it before and I am sure they as I would be happy to help answer any questions you may have.
Highly recomend learning rake and trail and the calculations so that when assembled it handles well.

Good luck and research research research

I've toyed with the idea myself but I just can't afford it. I think you should go for it though. A Dyna Springer looks pretty darn cool.
