Default Head light

Hi everyone. I have a 04 superglide and want to change out the stock headlamp to a harley #68593-06 5 3/4" billet headlamp. The lower tree will need to be drilled out so beyond this , I'm being told there isn't any issues ? Any heads up would be appreciated. Thanks

Nope, that's about it. Remove stock lamp, drill tree, wire, mount and adjust. Oh, then ride!

First, read this:

Then, Search. This has been covered ad nauseum. If, after searching and educating yourself you still have questions, feel free to start your Own thread asking specifically what you are having trouble understanding or were unable to find in your search.

i would suggest that you go to the headwinds site and buy the lamp basket that is on sale for 59.95. your stock lamp will fit and the quality is superb.

you will need a mount tab - I bought mine on ebay for $10. another $7 in chrome hardware and you're done. headwinds even has a "how to" on there website for drilling a lower sportster tree (same as yours).

you will not find a better quality product for less than $200 - this is a steal. And no - I'm not affiliated with them in any way - just amazed at the quality for the low price.

Yes I did it on my 04 LR, headlight, relocate turn signals, and idiot lights.
