Head light
Hi everyone. I have a 04 superglide and want to change out the stock headlamp to a harley #68593-06 5 3/4" billet headlamp. The lower tree will need to be drilled out so beyond this , I'm being told there isn't any issues ? Any heads up would be appreciated. Thanks

Has anyone changed the head light out on a lowrider with the hood..
I was thinking of doing the same, but my neutral light, oil light etc...
Are in that chrome lamp hood...any ideas on those indicator lights.
Would like to keep them, but want a clean look...thanks

i would suggest that you go to the headwinds site and buy the lamp basket that is on sale for 59.95. your stock lamp will fit and the quality is superb.
you will need a mount tab - I bought mine on ebay for $10. another $7 in chrome hardware and you're done. headwinds even has a "how to" on there website for drilling a lower sportster tree (same as yours).
you will not find a better quality product for less than $200 - this is a steal. And no - I'm not affiliated with them in any way - just amazed at the quality for the low price.
