I ride a denim so get the other paint job.

 

Go for the 2010....
You know your going to make some changes and add some items along the way spend the extra $2500 on some upgrades that way there covered in your factory warranty....
Just my 2 cents worth...

 

I'd go with the new one. The orange and black paint is just stock paint, one of many. If you get the new one, ride it for a year, look at many scooters to see what bent minds have come up with, you can then make a one off scooter called "yours".

Not that I have an opinion.

 

Don't fool yourself into thinking the special paint job is going to do anything for you on resale... at all. Having a 2010 vs. a 2009 will have an affect, though.

If I spend that much money on a bike I want the paint to shine, I don't care for the denim myself.

 

I ended up buying the 2009 Orange & Black, today. Let's see if this pic will attach below...The paint is custom & I got a great deal on the bike. The black is the standard vivid black but the Orange has a nice flake that looks great in the sun. Put 50 miles on it tonite & wow I am so happy to have traded in the 883!!
I also got the 15" smoked windshield which actually fits well on the bike, too. I wasn't sure how I would like it but got it for 50% off so worth the shot!!

Coming from a Denim Black Fat Bob owner, I'll tell you this......I FREAKIN LOVE the Harley Orange bikes! My first Harley was a Roadster with the old school orange and black paint job. Got all kinds of comments on the bike for the paint. Let's face it...Harley Orange is the sh**. I wanted orange and black on my FB but couldn't afford it.

I say get the old school original Harley Orange and Black!!
