I noticed a base gasket leak on the rear cylinder the other day and made arrangements to have it fixed on tues. I have pulled the Xied's off in anticipation that the dealership would tell me they caused the problem. Another mod I have done is lower the bike with blocks in the back and slid the forks up into the top tree about 1 3/16". Bike also has slip-ons. Should I have any issues with the dealer? I have pretty good repor with these guys. Oh yeah, I also have my fuel gauge disco'd because I scratched it and was in the process of replacing. its still off the bike

If the dealer can show some modification to the bike has contributed to an issue, they do not have to cover it. If a modifcation is not related, they have to honor the warranty.
