Default 580 miles yesterday to try out my new mods

Did you know that there is a rail line from LA through Death Valley and back to LA that is for the exclusive use of motorcycles?
At least that's the way it seemed riding my SuperGlide with the Sputhe chassis stabilizers on it.
You couldn't ask for better performance from my new T-max. at the fuel stop in baker I calculated my mileage at just over 45 MPG, that's cruising at 70-75 or better and the power curve is way improved.
this was my route;

These were the photos I took;

Route map is working now.
I'll try this, you may need to choose the Death Valley album if the link works.
Feel free to check out any of them though.

Well, it's a desert road that gets a lot of traffic but there has been some repair done on it. Lots of new blacktop. I thought it was a pretty good road myself.
Now that road between balloons F & G is a real POS. More suited to an adventure bike than a cruiser. But at least they had dragged a blade over the places where the asphalt is gone since the last heavy rain.

You're welcome. I'm a life long west coast person. Only been on the east side of the Rocky's once and that was only Cody, Wyoming.
I hope to change that soon but there's a lot to see on this side.
