Default how big of a motor will fit in my 2007 Street Bob

I am in the procees of rebuilding my bike and am contemplating a Demon 114ci motor. Will this fit in my frame? Is there a way to get comparable horsepower from the 96.

Just put in a Jim's 131 cu in and be done with it. Or you could go up to a 103 and cam it and have the heads ported with a good exhaust and it should run really good, maybe not like a 114 but it will be a bunnnnnnch cheaper

So the Demon is a Twin Cam A motor or Evo style? If it's not a Twin Cam A style motor then get ready for extensive mounting mods or a different frame all together. If it is a Demon as in Demons Cycle your best passing on anything from them.

The size of the motor that will fit in your bike is in direct relationship to the size of your wallet.

With enough money and creativity a small block Chevy will fit. But you probably won't be able to use forward controls.

Smartassedness aside .... what kind of numbers are you looking for? You should have an idea of what you want in horsepower and torque, before you just go out looking for big cubes....

Im looking for 120-130 hp. I have a stock 96 with VH staggered short shots, KN air filter and screamin eagle tuner. Im thinking of going to the 103 kit, but dont want to be disappointed. I came off a modified Hyabusa, but am realistic in my expectations.

120-130 HP is doable with enough $$$$ on 103 kit, I would expect that perhaps longevity might suffer somewhat.
