Contact Burly, but I'm pretty sure the '10 is the same as the '09 street bob's. www.burlybrand.com

Default hey jss

i keep reading that bobs pre 09' had to disassemble the front end of the bike to install springs. ive got an 09 and sounds like you had no trouble and that it is indeed a drop in kit only pulling the top fork bolts right?

I have the rear shocks on my 2010, but the front end is still stock height. I believe to do the front all you need to do is remove the bars from the trees and losen the upper leg tree clamps and then remove the top screw on the legs.
Here are some picks of how the rear sits.

the front kit is simple. just take out the spacer thing and the front spring and put in the new spring, then the helper spring or whatever its called, then you have a peice of pvc to put in... the pvc length is where u get your lowering from, it comes about 3.5 inches but i cut mine down to .5 inch , you can take a way an inch or two just depending on how low you wanna go

Very simple install. Like they said, Fork caps come off and new springs and spacers go in. The 09 kit does fit 10, and I found mine on ebay for way cheaper then anywhere else. I will try to find the link for you. That being said, ive been having some issues with front end travel on mine since I put in the kit and tore the whole front end back apart to see whats going on. Hopefully I will know if its the kit or something else by the end of the weekend.
