I recently picked up a two sets of tins, both new take offs, for my 03 SG.. One is a lowrider set off an 01, and the other is a set for a 01 wideglide.. I hate the bar mounted gauges, so I figured I would go with a tank mounted speedo.. My one concern is if I go with the wideglide tank, would it look odd on the SG since it is a smaller frame.?.. The wideglide tins did not come with gauges, dash mounts or fuel gauge.. Does anyone have any idea where I can find the part numbers or if they sell a complete assembly for this.. I have heard that I can use my existing speedo with an adapter ring.. from a friend... Also if I use the wideglide tins, will I need the fender struts from a wideglide to be able to use the rear fender?. Let me know which tins you guys think would look best.. just getting some ideas.. It's your bike. Mock it up and decide which one you like better.

Is it safe to assume you have a carb and not EFI?
I went the opposite way, put a SG tank on my WG.
BTW, there is no difference in frame size and the tanks are a direct swap.
