any thoughts on these? I am gonna call wimmer today and see what cfm they move, I am trying to decide between it and a ness, the wimmer overall looks like a better system but really at a toss up. I am pulling my Vance and Hines off and selling it. just wondering thanks.......

I had a Wimmer on my 02 Deuce, loved it. Adding that plus a thunderheader i got about 12 -15 HP. They can be a bit pricey ,but then again you get what you pay for . Hope I helped.

They aren't far from me at all, in Murrells Inlet, SC. They moved from PA a year ago or so. Anyway, I wanted to stop in check out their store when I was down there last weekend but a cold adult beverage won the toss-up.

I may go down there tomorrow with my family.

I doubt you would see any difference over a big sucker. Especially on an engine that is making less than 125hp. I am using a SE plate with a Zippers filter. It flows plenty.

For what it's worth- I found the chrome on the Ness AC cover to be cheesy.Makes me wonder about the over all quality.

Wimmer and Doherty have a unique check valve system for venting which allows for a partial crankcase vacuum during the intake stroke. This feature alone frees up a fair amount of horsepower. The rest of the aftermarket intakes are pretty much the same.
