1st thing I really do like your tank & chop.. there is a really nice flow to the lines of your bike .....

Just my .02 if you look at the bike as a whole from tank to seat to fender the fender rails in chrome break that visual line. If they were in black wouldn't break that nice flow of the bike... Either way a great job.

Got the tank from the custom chrome catalog. Had it for a few years while I was gathering other parts: turn signals, fuel gauge and speedo. Used the same fuel petcock, fuel lines, etc.

Some of these old school looking mods hit me as trashy but yours looks real nice to me, nice job. Attention to detail and clean smooth lines, very nice.

Default pipes

Big Growl 2" staggered drag pipes. (They are loud.) I'm looking for a 2 into 1 pipe and some forward controls. All in good time. 13 years and counting.

Are your rear springs stock? I'm about to chop my fender and trying to get some ideas for cut shapes and stance. I have 11" Progressives on the rear which is why i ask. Thanks

Awesome job. Looks great!

I had those same rims and tank on a bike I had a few years ago.
