yes the rear mount is a must. I left it off at first but it vibarated way to much.

I dont have a welder, but I'm buying one before any other parts, I had a friend do the welding of the factory headpipe to my rush pipe. I had already had it welded and back on the bike when I realized I need a rear mount to tone down the vibs and no welder so I made the rear mount bolt on where the baffle bolt is. it works pretty good but I'm gonna take it back apart and weld on the rear mount when I get my hobart welder. I have one pics as of now but I'm gonna make a few vids this week.


I painted the pipes with a flat high temp paint and the shields with a high temp gloss. I'm gonna have the shields PC'ed soon because I just could not get it to look as clear as the paint.

this is what I live by. I rarely buy anything, I would rather make it.

oh and I had a little accident while drilling the holes in my rear mount for the pipe. my drill caught an edge and threw it out of the vise and I stumbled back and fell on the part. the tip of the mount left a nice blister showing the hole I was drilling.
