It looks funny mounted on there longways... IMO (Like a hot dog) I would turn it sideways.

 

ha ha ha a hot dog!!! It doesn't have a top open, just the sides open. I will have my husband fix it to ride right when he comes home next week. Till then, it's the safest to me riding that way!!! I've been known not to tie things on right!

I was looking for a rack for my WG when I came across your pics. I really wanted bags but thought it would take away from the lines of the bike, but really like the ones that are on yours...what type and where did you get them?

 

do you have to remove the stock sissy bar to put on the motherwell luggage rack?

 

Yes. I learned that the hard way. Unless you modify the sissy bar it will not fit with the motherwell rack.
