Sorry, not much help here, but you stated you had read some remarks which already helped you select the Ultima 120. Go for it..

Have you looked into TP engines? Is there any reason why you dont build your engine into a stroker big bore? The only reason not to build what ya got is if it slung a rod and damaged the cases.

Have you checked the MoCo engine exchange program? If you want to just swap out what you have.

I haven't heard a ton of good stuff about Ultima engines. (Don't ask what I've heard, I don't remember and I'm no mechanic.) I have heard good things about TP and of course, S&S. I don't know anything about the Revtech motors, either.

TP engines are built here in the states NC I believe and they come with Dyno sheet and the engine tolerances and specs go on file at TP forever. If you ever need service they have your engine on file for reference. I was going to buy a fatboy that had a TP110 and I got the serial number and called them to get a manufacturing date, sale date,,Dyno specs also. If I remember correctly that 113 engine made around 120HP and 120Tq ,but I cant remember specifically. It coulda been more.

Default Thanks

I been looking at all the motors out there and for the $$$ I think they are a good deal. I like S&S and TP but for them I would have to wait another year or so, it's been 2 so far. To long with out ride'en. To rebuild my stocker and go though it all would be about 3500 - 4500 at this point I might as well get a new motor. fyi-the cam bearing went and took the pinon shaft, cam, oil pump, and other parts with it. the case is O.K. I think but again to put all new parts in an old stock case? I am new here have not done any forum thing before. Thanks for the input and help,Later Joe
