i have a 2011 flhx with a 103cu motor.. the bike is pretty custom , plaine and simple i want more power so i was thinking instead of building the motor just swapping it out with a 120r.. my dealership told me it should put down about 135hp to the wheel. and the swap is about 6-7 hours shop time and with total cost with the extras and clutch and everything needed with labor in the ballpark of 7-8k..any comments or concerns i welcome .. thanks
Wow thats expensive, but i guess if you want the power you have to pay,the thing that sux if a kid on a sttock hyabusa pulls next to u he will still beat ya,
Who the F cares about what a hyabusa is gonna do? Apples to oranges. That price aint bad if it includes everything, the intake, tune, clutch etc, etc. Just a few years ago we were spending close to that to rebuild existing motors, and you didn't end up with a spare motor that could be sold to help offset the price.
