so I've had my street bob since 07...lately it seems like the seat has been getting really hot. not sure if I'm just being to feminine for my bike or my panacea light is getting hot...any input?

 

If you have a cheap a$$ resistive load equalizer like HD sells it gets real hot. Strapping the equalizer to the frame or other big piece of metal will help to dissipate the heat. The only other option is to buy a better qualiy equalizer that uses active electronics like the ones Badlands sells.

 

Eat less Mexican food results in less flatulence...and less "homemade" heat on your seat.

 

Don't complain too much. They'll start marketing it as a combination load equalizer/seat heater and charge everyone an additional $100!
