I used to ride to work when it was freezing out, but one day I pushed it a bit too far. Rode to work when it was 20 degrees outside, I got to work and my hands hurt soooooo bad. I am going to install some heat demons this winter and hope that I can get on the bike in March. Other than my fingers hurting I am okay, I just have to figure that part out and I am good to go

Glad to see I'm not the only nutball. I don't mind riding in the cold, I usually dress for it. This time was just spur of the moment and I didn't expect to go further than the two and a half miles around the "block" and then park it. Except for a Christmas day and New Years day quick ride, I put the bike away when the salt hits. As for riding to work... isn't going to happen. I work outside and wouldn't be able to warm up for like 14 hours. That would just be painful.

I picked up a 15" Memphis slim with lowers for this winter. Makes a HUGE difference. Looks kinda cool too (for a windshield). So far Ive been out there everyday unless the roads are bad, temps ranging from 25-56.
