It is still August, but the cooler New England mornings have me thinking. I bought the bike back in April and the morning temps were just over 30 degrees. I tried to wear a face mask, then a bandana to protect my face, but my sunglasses fogged up with every exhale so I never made it out of the driveway. Does anyone have any advice to prevent this?
If you saw this in the "Gloves" thread, sorry, I f'ed up when trying to post.
Neck gaiter with either a 3/4 or FF. Pull the gaiter up over your nose (and up to your ears) and raise the visor at stops, slow spots etc. to prevent fogging.
Other tips:
Long johns
Flannel lined jeans
A good pair of leather gauntlets
Layered t-shirts and sweatshirts under leather
You might even want to invest in heated gear up where you are..
