Default Do not do business with nexlsports.com

In April of this year I purchased a helmet frm nexlsports.com. This company reportedly prides itself in a light DOT Helmet with a thin profile. The helmet was $158.00. Well, after five months of being told it would ship in twp weeks the I finally asked for a refund in August. I was told I would receive the refund in two weeks. After 3 months the company is now not returning phone calls or returning e-mails. Their web site is still up and running at www.nexlsports.com. I strongly recommend you do not do business with this company.

That's strange. I bought one of their helmets a couple years ago and didn't have any problem at all. Sorry to hear about your trouble. My suggestion is to go to the better business bureau.

I will say this though...the helmet is much larger than they advertise. I thought it would be tiny..but it was as big as any harley half helmet....just so you know.

I use one of their helmets and love it, however I wanted to carry their helmets in my store when I had it. I called and spoke to a sales rep there. He said "I'll fax you a dealer app." and that was the last I ever heard from them.

This was actually the second helmet I bought from them. The first took about three months to get, no big deal though it was winter. I have tried everything to be nice to these people and resolve the situation. For the last two months all you get is the same answering machine when you call their numbers. I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint with the California Bureau last night.

I wish I had seen your post before I ordered a helmet from them. It's been over two months and they've told me a number of times that my helmet would ship by X date only for that date to pass with no helmet and no communication as to why. When I email I'm told that if I don't like the delays I can cancel my order. That sure makes a customer feel appreciated. My most recent inquiry has not received a response. I WILL protest the charge if I don't receive my helmet soon.

Had the same go around with them last year (it will ship next week, next month, in 3 months). After cancelling my order and waiting for my $$ back (after about 3 calls), I went with carbonfiberhelmets.com

The BBB can **** and moan but they're in the business of warning others, not getting your money back. Like Voyager said, call the credit card company that you used and give them a chance to earn some of that crazy interest they charge you.
