Ok so I want to pc forks, bars, rear springs really anything chrome. But what is everyone doing on mid-section of forks? Also can the springs be powdercoated without any issues? I looked at tons of threads and couldn't find exact answer sorry...

forks can not be powder coated they can be coated (can not recall the name of the process) check out rocket bobs website they do great work and Pete is a stand up guy... it is not cheap but looks trick...t here are ways around it like fork boots and covers for the upper trees section... but that is about it

Its called diamond like carbon. From what I heard from rocket bobs was theres a lot more to putting color in the midsection then just coating it. Had to actually cut the forks and re-weld them. There price was way too much for me, cheaper to just use a fork boot IMO.

Did you use vinyl or leather to cover? Or something else?

There is a company in Lake Elsinore, CA called Suspension Direct that offers DLC coated fork tubes. The advantage to the DLC is a lower coefficient of friction as well as a very hard coating. It is applied right over the hard chrome.
