Whats up with the pinging.

At the risk of hijacking this thread, I've been reading some posts about these and am convinced they couldn't hurt. Seem pretty straightforward to install. Question, I have a SERT Pro and can I use it the presently installed download in conjunction with the XiEd's?

I have them on both our bikes, very pleased with the results.

These scoots should not be pinging. Mine does. Put on the O2 foolers and I think it helps a bit, but I still have the problem. If you are going 50 in 4th you should be able to hammer it and it should not ping. Nada, none, no reason. I don't know if it is the gas here in SoCal, the tuning, or maybe a little of both, but it sure does suck.

These bikes seem to be geared higher than the older ones. I'm beginning to consider a more power-friendly pulley ratio. Hell, 6th gear is all but useless on anything other than the straightest, flattest roads.
Meanwhile, I'm learning to use a gear lower than I think "should be" right.
My PC-V has eliminated the excessive heat and pinging, but I still feel like the power-band is a bit higher than the range which I became accustomed on the older bikes (shovels and pre-Evo sportsters).
