They are Big Radius pipes, fairly loud when you crack the throttle but I dont think they are bad when you are just cruising around taking it easy. I kept the baffles in.

How do you feel about the red on black color scheme?
Thanks.

The only time I've had the problem is riding two-up in right turns and hitting a bit of a bump. A bit unnerving at first, but I learned to baby it more when she's on the back.

I think the Progressives will help with all the issues, as the stock HD shocks leave a lot to be desired.

I like the Sedona Orange Flame paint job. There were about six couples drooling over the bike when I told the salesman to write it up for me. That got a few sad faced expressions. I rode it home and have zero regrets.

Since I've been hangin' out here at hdforums, I've noticed that quite a few others have the same paint scheme. It seems to be as popular as the "Bumblebee" Camaros.

Honestly, the best handling big-twin I've ever ridden belonged to a good friend of mine. It was an '82 FXR, and the frame was unique to that year (so I was told). It was very tall for a big-twin cruiser. Handled like an oversized Sportster.

I wouldn't mind finding one of those at some point in the future.

I pulled the leather off the seat and shaved the foam down with an electric knife, then added some memory foam to shape it how I wanted it. Wrapped it back up and it feels great.

I really recommend getting it and riding it stock for a while before making to many expensive decisions. You won't know what really needs to be done without a few hundred miles on it, taking some long trips and finding out if you have a sore *** or cramped legs or hunched back or whatever. Hopefully none of the above, but there's a workaround for all of them.

2008 FXDWG with forward controls. I'm 6"3 barefoot and about 6"5 with boots and 250lbs. I'm thinking about extending them a few inches but the stock seat is just fine. Also, looking to move up to 14 in apes. I think the stock mini apes are 10 in???
