Default Stage 1 Question

I recently installed a screaming eage stage 1 ventilator AC, vance and hines straight shot slip ons, and vance and hines fuel pack. I have noticed sometimes i get some poping on decel. Doesn't happen all the time seems like certain RPM's make it do it. Just wondering if its the pipes or if I have a lean condition. Thanks for any suggestions.

There's a big downside to the fuelpak - it doesn't eliminate the O2 sensors. This means the bike will try to drag the AFR back to stock (lean) in the closed loop area (cruising & low RPM).

I'd suggest fitting some Xieds to pull down the AFR in the closed loop area.

I would also retourque the exhaust bolts. Mine had a little popping the other day and I retorqued them and no more popping. They were real loose also!

I have been told that is very common for V&H shots. I have had mine Dyno's twice and I still get them on decel. I do not worry about it.

Fuelpak is your issue. PCV is what you need.

Popping adds character, haha. It's a hawg. Run it. I've got stage 1 with no fuel management and no issues. I personally think you could have skipped the fuel pack and spent that $$ elsewhere based on my experience with my machine.

At any rate its nothing major. Ride it like you stole it!
